Acumen Skill
A character can be manipulative, charming, intimidating, he can interact with people as versatilely, subtly, and masterfully as he likes, but to read people - to know how an individual will react in a given situation, to judge honesty from falsehood, to truly understand others he needs the Acumen Skill. A sort of personality perception, a student of acumen understands the hearts and minds of his fellows. He reads body language, notes mannerisms, but above all he observes, and draws conclusions from his observations. For the greatest speaker in the world, the finest manipulator, the most inspiring leader, is nothing without an understanding of his audience.
