Appreciation: This enhancement speciality allows a character to analyze and appreciate works of art that are far beyond the scope of his own creative talents. Many characters, especially those of aristocratic background, have a profound understanding of works of art, but no desire to produce such works themselves. This speciality represents such an understanding.
By Medium: This enhancement speciality suggests that the character is a more accomplished artist in a preferred medium, better able to produce work of technical and creative quality, more efficiently in that familiar medium. Possible mediums include: Calligraphy, Carving, Painting, Sculpting or Writing, although a plethora of others are possible, in diverse forms across different cultures.
Valuation: In some (rare) cultures works of art are becoming desirable and valuable commodities beyond their composite materials. The Valuation enhancement speciality represents the ability of a character to judge the value of a work of art, based on an extensive knowledge of the market for that sort of work, and precedent set by similar works. Essential for any merchant wishing to trade in objets d'art.
