Bounty Hunter Profession

When a criminal is at large in the wilderness or present to great a threat for local law enforcement often a bounty will be offered to any who can take the criminal for the authorities. Bounty Hunters make their living collecting these bounties. They dwell in the wilds tracking down bandits, fugitives and marauders and bringing them to justice in chains or boxes. Lone bounty hunters can venture places that armies cannot, which makes them useful to militias, watchmen or local lords and they are paid handsomely for the risks that they take. They are professional killers who have little more compassion for their quarry than a skinner has for his prey. Ruthless fighters, expert trackers, and able to survive for long periods most become as fierce as the desperate men that they hunt.
