Engineering Skill
A character with the Engineering Skill has an understanding of structural engineering - that is to say that they understand what part of a structure must be strong, and where weight will be distributed. While most structures in a medieval world are less than structurally sound, there are many that must be feats of architecture and engineering that are utterly astounding. Castles of greater and greater strength and cunning, great cathedrals and temples that glorify the divh, massive monuments and wondrous civil buildings, massive docks and a plethora of other structures have no hope of surviving without the ministrations of a skilled engineer. Of course, a good siege engineer also knows exactly where to his a castle to bring the whole tumbling to the ground.
