Herding Skill
A character who has the Herding Skill understands how to keep stock animals, or even wild animals to some extent, farming them for their meat, wool, milk or similar. A herder also understands selective breeding, and uses an understanding of husbandry to breed stronger, larger or more docile stock animals, while a horse breeder uses it to breed a faster and lighter, or stronger and heavier horse, a dog breeder might create a more savage, or more intelligent hound, a falconer a more docile falcon and so forth. Herding is one of the foundations of most civilized societies, and domestic or wild the need to keep animals, control their movements, and generate goods from them is fundamental.
