Lake Riala

Lake Riala is a long, deep body of water on the border between Southaven and Highdunn, and feeds into the Stower to flow to the sea. On it's eastern banks sits the city of Riala, famous for breweries and wineries, and flotillas of drunken revelers are a common sight bobbing gaily along the lake's surface. Crystal clear, deep, and startlingly blue Lake Riala is picturesque. Along its banks willows drape their boughs over the water, and on the water on a still day the lake is like a dark mirror. Occasionally in winter a mist will blow in and hang over the lake for most of the day, but normally the waters are friendly and welcoming.
