Landers Bay

Landers Bay, with the Purple Mountain at it's mouth and Lierkist at its apex, is the most iconic part of Sigard, and it is perhaps appropriate that it is named for Sigard's founder. The King's Cliff sits at the western mouth of the bay where all of the kings of Sigard are immortalized in sculpture out of the living rock of the cliff's face. Landers Bay itself is deep, but with swift often chaotic currents. Large vessels have no trouble, but small fishing boats often find themselves the prey of random and powerful currents, and of sudden violent squalls that pass as fast as they rise up. Despite this seals and walrus love to bask on beaches up the coast, and gannet colonies on high headlands fill the skies with croaking calls.
