River Tawn

The River Tawn flows through the City State of Southaven, where it has been reshaped by the hands and stonework of men into a number of square canals, but upriver it is pure and rather lovely, flanked by low hills and orchards, fruit and the scent of apples and pears often drift down the river into the canals where they bob pleasantly against bridges and pilings. The river itself is lazy, and has been heavily fished, but eels and other river life to small to be worth eating still dwell here, like little silver minnows and a plethora of noisy frogs. Southavaniens and the residents of the hamlet of Tawnybrooke, found close to the river's source enjoy taking small rowing boats for a leisurely trip down or up river in the summer months.
