Suldan
One of the last of the truly great Irian Nasirates Suldan has become known as the land of whispers in recent years, for they say that in Suldan there are eyes everywhere, and information is worth more than gold. The Nasirs of the Lul line have become masters of playing their retainers and enemies off against one another, staying perpetually one step ahead of those they would control, and hoarding secrets against an unforeseen need. So masterfully have they conducted this reign of blackmail, manipulation, and back-room negotiation that it has become the norm in Suldan. Spies are in every household, and everyone from the crippled beggar to the common pedlar to the austere priest is ever vigilant for slips of the tongue that might grant them the upper hand.

Political Geography

the current nasir is a brutal tyrant, formerly a close ally of dol-sadris, in recent generations the nasir have proven willing to take what they want and expand their borders by force. some say they're even willing to enlist urgrol to further their goals.

Social Geography

Suldan is a state where eyes are everywhere. No one knows who might be an informant for the nasir's men, or who might become one to have his own infractions forgiven. It is slowly becoming such a den of spies that soon there will be more informers to be had than information! But this air of mistrustful danger keeps the people fiercely loyal, and the nasir Molrick seems to know everything about his neighbours, even before their own rulers do!

Notable Individuals

Lul-Molrick, Nasir of Suldan and his Voice Yan-Sathyn
Lul-Molrick quickly became known as "Molrick the Glowworm" in certain circles, because like the glow worm Molrick disorients his prey with his splendid radiance so utterly that they stumble unknowing into his lure. His Voice Yan-Sathyn was a controversial choice, for she is not his wife nor even a member of Molrick's household, but instead his mistress. Perhaps more ruthless and cunning than even Molrick, Sathyn is revered throughout Suldan as practically omniscient.
