Templeton

Templeton was the original site of the Great Temple of the Sun, and though it has long since been abandoned by the priests of Rallah the massive edifice still dominates the district. An extensive plaza of beautifully wrought stone buildings, supported by ornate pillars depicting heroes and mythical creatures, mosaics and frescoes depicting scenes of Rallah's great victories, and other marvels all adorn the centre of templeton, at the point where Scribes Street and Healers Street end. Other buildings are similar to Carrafield to the west or the Rookery to the south, made of red brick, usually three or more levels, with whitewashed carved cornices and door frames, numerous skywalks balconies and roof gardens, lots of archways and tunnels leading to hidden courtyards couched between towering buildings, and lots of follies like squat towers and hanging bridges. Roads are cobbled in yellow-orange stone with channels to carry sewerage, stables and Ikar roosts are relatively common, with some structures having their own private roosts and stables.

The region is controlled by House Taliniere, House Kevvh and the Canonate even holds property here and the entire district is notably gang-free. What some might consider a 'middle class' district, the Canonate is still based here, despite having moved from the immense Great Temple to the Great Temple of Dawn and Dusk, a more modest structure to the north of the district. Ralstaans and a few wealthy less segregationist Irians make their homes here, with myr rare. Noblemen from the university and initiated priests mingle here, and culture exists here as befits the once centre of the faith of all Ralstaa.
