Throwing Dagger

The Ghans use a smaller, lighter dagger as a projectile weapon, often secreting these Throwing Daggers about their person so as to seem unarmed, and still be able to attack an enemy at a distance. Throwing daggers are like a normal dagger, however they are designed to rotate hilt over blade in mid air when thrown to give extra distance to the throw. The throwing dagger is usually roughly nine or ten inches tip to hilt, with the blade taking up half this length and having two cutting edges and a point. The hilt is bound, and much heavier than a normal dagger to ensure it will rotate in mid-air. There are seldom cross guards or other embellishments to the hilt, and so the weapon in unsuited to close combat.
