Usdai
Even in recent history Usdai (OOZ-die) has had many names. It was a part of the Goblyn nation of Kayaba, then it was taken by refugees from Arumthar and called Khimar, and then the Org-worshipping Usdai tribes were driven east by the Mhulak of Mzrad, and massacred the folk of Khimar, and the land became Usdai. Now it is a land of layered ruins, stalked by Org Immortals and their bands of fanatical devotees. Where the Goblyns have turned their back on civilization, to the savagery that conquered their distant ancestors.

Geography

Physical Geography

Northern Usdai marks the southernmost reaches of the featureless Kayari Steppe, where the land begins to rise up into the hilly territory common to this stretch of coast. From the end of this great flat expanse south the land is dramatically different. Forever marked by the violence of the sundering, a grim remembrance of the failings of the race of men.

Political Geography

Once the first realm founded by fleeing Arumtharns, Usdai was known as Khimar before the Org came and brought armies of Goblyns with them. Driven from their homes in the mountains by the emergence of the Mzrad Mhulak, the Org pushed east, and the native Goblyns of the region marched with them.

Social Geography

The goblyns of Usdai have embraced the old Orgish name of the region, and have devoted themselves wholeheartedly to the local Org tribes, treating their forebears with a reverence that verges on worship. Embracing every aspect of Org life, they have willingly reduced themselves to tribal savages, great communities of mixed goblyns and Imps serving small Org tribes, warring alternately with one another and their neighbours. The Usdai are considered utterly monstrous by their goblyn neighbours - adhering to the worst assumptions about their race, and abandoning centuries of culture and learning and history in favour of barbarism.
