Vush

Where many languages have an 'old' or 'high' incarnation, in which its foundation holy texts are written, Vashri has Vush. But unlike most high languages, Vush is not an ancient tongue, but something of a cypher. A second language, born of the old Vashri, in which holy texts are written so as to make it impossible for a non-priest to entirely understand them. Vush is closely guarded by its speakers, even today, because in written form it uses the same alphabet as Vashri, and thus one literate in Vashri who hears it enough would undoubtedly be able to decode the various holy works of the old goblyn faiths, and reap the rewards of the ancient secrets therein, meant as reward for a lifetimes devotion and dedication.
