Vehicle Handling Skill
A character with the Vehicle Driving Skill is skilled at handling a vehicle, most commonly something like a barge or wagon or cart that travels in one direction with a direct means of propulsion. This skill generally covers an understanding of the width, length, height and depth of a vehicle and how to manouver and turn something of that scale and shape. How much speed a vehicle can take without damage on various surfaces, how fast a vehicle can turn without overturning and other such details are also elements of the vehicle driving skill.

When acquiring a Vehicle Driving Skill a character selects a type of vehicle he can handle from the list below. A character may have multiple vehicle types, each time purchasing a new Vehicle Driving Skill.

  • Land: Land vehicles, usually wheeled and animal-drawn, including sledges, carts, caravans, wagons, carriages, and howdahs.
  • Small Water: Small scale water vehicles including rafts, rowboats, keelboats, and barges.
  • Large Water: Larger maritime vessels from shallow-hulled coasters to hulking ocean-going galleons.
